ELECTRICAL/I&C INSPECTOR
This position is initially a part-time position (80 hours month) with the anticipation that it will change to full time by the end of 2009.
Expertise in the construction inspection of electrical and instrumentation/controls work,
Quality assurance and quality control experience
Report documentation experience
Effective oral and written communication skills are required
Will serve as primary field contact between the Construction Manager (CM) and the General Contractor
Wastewater Treatment Plant construction experience required
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Observation and inspection of construction work performed by others.
Verification that all work is installed per contract requirements and applicable codes.
Assist Project Manager in contract administration activities.
Generating inspectors' daily reports.
Reviewing and evaluating contractor's proposal for extra work.
Assisting in preparing field change orders.
Assembling closeout documentation.
